Footnotes
BOSS OF ALL BOSSES was prominent leaving the start then ceded the early lead, stalked the decent pace into the backstretch run, roused into the far turn then vied for the lead nearing the top of the lane, drifted out a bit to upper stretch then took command into the final furlong, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely for the win. WICKED SECRET settled and saved ground to the first turn, maintained an inside path along the backstretch run, angled four wide into the far turn, spun five wide to upper stretch and was asked for run while on the left lead into the lane, made a wide rally to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner into deep stretch but got up in time for the place honors. CAJUN MITOLE bobbled at the start but recovered and settled in mid-pack early, tracked outside of rivals along the backstretch run, asked for run three then four wide nearing the top of the lane, bid into the final furlong, was outkicked in deep stretch and just missed for the place, while holding for the show. LASER CLAD rated off of the early pace and settled in mid-pack, tracked the decent pace two wide and between foes along the backstretch, was well placed into the far turn then waited for racing room nearing the top of the lane, found room to upper stretch and chased to the furlong grounds, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and flattened out. BEHEMAH STAR hopped at the start and was off a step slowly, unhurried in the early going, saved ground along the backstretch run then into the far turn, chased to upper stretch then shifted out for the stretch drive, offered a mild late bid but needed more in the final stages. CAUSEWAY BENNY sent for the early lead, assumed command and showed the way into the backstretch, set a decent pace to the far turn, was overtaken into upper stretch, battled into the final furlong, could not hold off oncoming rivals into the final sixteenth and gave way late. JEFFROW settled outside of foes into the far turn, reserved along the backstretch run, coaxed two wide into the far turn, swung three then four wide to upper stretch and lacked the needed late response. LE MONSTRE RAPIDE rated off of the early pace and saved ground to the first turn, tracked the decent pace from the inside along the backstretch run, was well placed to the far turn, was outrun into upper stretch and weakened in the drive.
