Footnotes
SIERRA NOVEMBER got shuffled back at the start and was last away from the gate, trailed to the first turn then advanced between rivals into the backstretch, tracked the pace two to three wide and between foes into the far turn, angled four wide at the quarter marker and was set down for the drive, made a sustained rally into the final furlong, took command in the final sixteenth and dug in late to prevail. FIRE MOON settled while saving ground into the first turn, was well placed along the inside nearing the half-mile, saved all of the ground into the far turn then raced in tight nearing the top of the lane, found room into the stretch and rallied along the rail into the final furlong, was trying in deep stretch, could not reel in the winner in the final strides but gamely won the nod for the place. UNION MIST was forwardly placed away from the gate then took back to track the early pace, ran in pursuit two to three wide along the backstretch, bid into the far turn then vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker, took command into the stretch, got collared at the sixteenth-pole, was outfinished in deep stretch and just missed for second, while well clear for third. LOW KEY broke in at the start and was off a step slowly, settled outside of rivals into the first turn, advanced while widest along the backstretch run, chased four wide into the far turn, spun five to six wide into upper stretch, could not sustain her run into the final furlong and flattened out. SEA TO SKY (IRE) settled and saved ground to the first turn, maintained an inside trip along the backstretch run, trailed to the far turn then waited behind rivals nearing the quarter marker, swung three to four wide to upper stretch, was outkicked into the final furlong and faltered late. ANONIMA was prominent away from the start, ceded the early lead then stalked the moderate pace to the backstretch, roused into the far turn and vied for the lead nearing the top of the stretch, could not keep pace nearing the furlong grounds and weakened in the drive. DAWN AFTER DAWN vied for the early lead then took command into the first turn, controlled the pace through moderate fractions heading to the half-mile, came under pressure into the far turn and was overtaken nearing the top of the lane, gave way past the quarter marker then tired in the final furlong.
