MAMBA OUT was away in good order and contested the early pace from the outside, engaged with MARGOINABUBBLEBATH and pressed that rival from the three path into the turn, dueled into the stretch, crowded MARGOINABUBBLEBATH a bit into the final furlong, shook free of the runner-up into the final sixteenth and drew clear in the late stages. MARGOINABUBBLEBATH was prominent away from the start and assumed a narrow early lead, set a pressured pace while off of the rail into the turn, carved out moderate fractions nearing the top of the stretch and dueled inside of MAMBA OUT into the lane, battled into the final furlong, got crowded then overtaken by the winner heading into the final sixteenth, yielded to the winner in deep stretch and was an easy second. BERLAINE rated just off of the early pace and tracked between rivals along the backstretch run, was well placed to the turn, chased two wide into the bend then shifted three wide nearing the top of the stretch, ran in pursuit four wide into the lane, was outkicked into the final sixteenth but kept on in the late stages and just held for the show. SLAM DIEGO rated just off of the early pace, tracked between rivals along the backstretch run then was shuffled back a bit approaching the turn, trailed into the bend, chased two wide to upper stretch and ran in pursuit into the final furlong, needed more in the late stages and just missed for third. GOLD PLUS was close up to the early pace while inside of rivals, tracked the dueling leaders while saving ground into the turn, chased from the inside to upper stretch, was outkicked at the furlong marker and weakened in the final sixteenth. CASTLE MAGIC chased the early pace while widest along the backstretch, ran in pursuit three then four wide into the turn, swung widest to upper stretch, could not find more nearing the furlong pole and came up empty in the final stages.
