Footnotes
HAWIJA moved up to track the pace three wide, took charge at the three sixteenths and drifted in a couple paths before being corrected and kept to task with left handed urging for the final furlong. DUVEE showed good early speed, came under heavy pressure through the turn, gave way at the three sixteenths, tipped out three wide while switching to inside lead at the eighth but was held at bay by the winner. TAP THE TEQUILA was rated along the inside, angled out four wide entering the stretch, ducked in a bit in the upper stretch before repositioning back out five wide to close willingly in the final furlong. JOSAN broke a step slow, trailed patiently until entering the stretch, passed tiring rivals along the inside under right handed encouragement, switched sticks at the sixteenth and ducked out a few paths before the finish. CRIGLER settled off the pace, trailed at the quarter, passed retreating foe in the final furlong. SHAWN'S SOLVING pressed the early pace on the inside, took hold at the five eighths, moved back up to apply pressure from the two path in the turn and upper stretch, retreated in the final furlong.
