DONEGAL MOONSHINE found early position around the middle of the pack, tipped out five wide in the upper stretch, closed in under right handed encouragement to take charge at the sixteenth, held firm. HIGHSTAKES HUSTLER shadowed the early pace, moved up along the inside to take command at the eighth but could not sustain the bid and gave way to the winner at the sixteenth. RED MOSCATO trailed shortly after the start, began making steady improvements in the turn, continued to improve along the inside of the stretch under right handed urging to earn the show award. SIR PISTOLERO broke through the gate, was led back and re-loaded, stalked the pace three wide, applied heavy pressure through the turn but could not switch leads in the stretch and flattened out. D COLDEST quickly claimed the early lead, came under pressure in the turn, gave way to rivals on both sides at the eighth and weakened then on. SIR LIAM hopped at the start, began advancing four wide until taking hold at the seven sixteenths, tipped out five wide in the stretch, but could not improve. OUR PACT tracked the early pace five wide, backed off the pace before the turn, never threatened.
