EMANCIPATION chased the early pace from the inside, tipped out four wide in the upper stretch and moved up to duel KEY MAN in the final furlong, bumped each other approaching the sixteenth, edged clear late. KEY MAN was bumped at the start, rushed up to take command soon after, led uncontestedly until coming under pressure from EMANCIPATION in the final furlong, bumped each other approaching the sixteenth and gave way soon after. STANDARD DEDUCTION was bumped at the start, raced off the pace in the early stages, gained position along the inside of the turn but could not catch the top two. KING OF THE ISLES (IRE) broke outwardly at the start, trailed distantly for most, found best stride late to pass foes along the inside of the stretch. MOR CHEESE PLEASE was rated four wide, gained position in the turn, weakened in the stretch. ECCENTRIC CLUB tracked the early pace, backed off the pace up the backstretch before the turn, showed little in the stretch. CAMPANARIO chased the early pace, slowly backed off through the turn, retreated down the stretch.
