A HINT OF SCANDEL showed speed and tracked from the outside, moved up to join DIRTY STRAIGHT UP nearing the turn, dueled from the five sixteenths, held a slim advantage past the furlong grounds, remained on his left lead while under a drive and proved resolute to the wire. DIRTY STRAIGHT UP had speed to clear after a furlong, secured the inside and dug in when confronted entering the turn, drifted out a bit while battling through the final sixteenth and finished gamely in a sharp effort. A G'S CHARLIE , away well, saved ground chasing the top pair, eased back off of a rival mid turn, regroouped, stayed inside and kept on with effort to gain the show. MY TOUCH broke outward and made contact with a foe, showed some speed inside then steadied back to the inside of a foe leaving the five eighths, angled out and raced three wide around the turn, chase and churned on. BAD JOKE, off the pace while saving ground, offered some belated action. A LOTTA SHANCE , bumped between runners at the break, moved up between runners to be in range nearing the half, advanced menacingly in about the two path approaching the lane to have aim on the embattled leaders, failed to kick on in mid stretch and faded. I GOT THE HINT, bumped at the break, moved up four then three wide to reach a striking spot into the turn, raced in the clear with pursuit mid turn, shifted out, failed to keep pace soon into the lane then faded. VON ERICH dropped off the pace while outside a foe, raced wide in upper stretch and drifted out a bit near mid stretch. BEE AURELIUS , urged off the pace three wide, failed to respond. FORTYSVENFORTHEWIN lagged back, saved ground leaving the far turn and failed to get involved.
