Footnotes
ONE LINE RULER shadowed the early pace from the inside, kept the inside rounding the turn to take charge by the three sixteenths, kicked clear to be much the best. LAKE MARIE bumped into inside foe at the start, took command shortly after the start, continued on under mild pressure from the competition, gave enough room around the quarter to allow for ONE LINE RULER to overtake, no match for the winnner. CLEVER RACE bumped into outside foe at the start, raced off the pace four to five wide, entered the stretch seven wide and began making progress on the left lead, switched leads approaching the sixteenth and got up for the show award. WHERE'S AUNT J moved up to track the early pace four wide, shifted in under right handed encouragement to brush lightly with GOOD N SASSY at the three sixteenths, switched to inside lead for a few strides at the sixteenth and gave up the show honors. MISS KENNEDY was pinched back shortly after the start, trailed for most, tipped out four wide at the eighth to pass tiring foes. CUSTOM PUNCH settled off the pace, trailed at the eighth, passed tired foe. GOOD N SASSY moved up to apply early pressure to the pace three wide, backed off a couple lengths in the upper stretch, brushed lightly by WHERE'S AUNT J at the three sixteenths, faded then on.
