Footnotes
SULLY quickly set a pressured pace, gained some breathing room in the turn, kicked clear down the stretch to be much the best. CALLING ON HEAVEN pressed the pace in the early stages, chased the leader through the far turn and upper stretch, switch back to inside lead at the eighth, no match for the winner. EL MAXIMO was rated along the inside, never switched leads, finished evenly. SOMEKINDA MISCHIEF settled off the pace, made some late improvements along the outside of the stretch. TICKLE ME UNCLEMO hopped at the start, advanced six wide up the backstretch, saved some ground in the turn, picked off one more foe in the stretch before dropping back one more position at the wire. PRINCE BEN found early position around the middle of the pack, weakened in the stretch. GOLD DOLLAR broke outwardly at the start then was corrected, trailed shortly after the start, made no impact.
