Footnotes
DANZIG'S DORA stalked the pace three wide, took charge at the three sixteenths, kept to task down the stretch to hold off inside foe. THE GREAT MAYBE shadowed the early pace from the inside, got in tight approaching the turn, began closing down the stretch but got hung late. CALIFORNIA SMOKE was pinched back at the start, raced off the pace in the two path, split foes at the top of the stretch and angled four wide, no match for the top two, held for the show award. WATERING raced off the pace four wide, passed one rival in the stretch. ICE COLD BLONDE was forced out and steadied at the start, trailed for most, took to the far outside of the stretch for a late gain. SAY I DO SADIE veered out at the start bothering rivals, was rated three wide in the middle of the pack, backed off to trail by the eighth, passed retreating foe. DAY DAWNING swiftly took early command, came under pressure from DANZIG'S DORA in the turn, gave way at the three sixteenths and weakened then on.
