Footnotes
SIX STRING settled inside of rivals in the early stages, was well placed to the turn then tipped out along the bend, loomed to upper stretch then confronted BET TOWINIT into the drive, battled that rival to the furlong marker then turned away BET TOWINIT into the final furlong, kicked clear into the final sixteenth and kept to task late. RUE LALA allowed to settle in the early stages, made an inside bid to upper stretch, shifted out in the drive and chased SIX STRING into the final furlong, could not muster the needed final response but closed late to earn the place honors. BET TOWINIT showed good early speed and set the pace to the turn, dictated terms to upper stretch and met the bid of SIX STRING into the lane, yielded to the winner into the final furlong, was outfinished late for second and held clearly in the end for third. CUSTOM DESIGN allowed to settle in the early stages, saved ground to upper stretch and advanced into the drive, could not sustain that run into the final furlong and flattened out. BOX OF PICTURES was shuffled at the start and trailed in the early stages, asked for run three wide to upper stretch, needed more in the drive and passed tiring rivals late. LUYV stalked the early pace, chased two wide and between foes into the turn, got caught in tight and was shuffled back at the five-sixteenths marker, lost position to upper stretch and tired in the drive. BAYOU BERTIE tracked the early pace from outside of rivals, gave chase along the turn, spun four wide to upper stretch and was outkicked leaving the quarter marker, could not find more in the drive and gave way.
