BRIDGE CLASSIC got crowded a bit at the start but showed speed leaving the gate and assumed early command, set a prompted pace to the turn then led to the quarter marker, shook free of MISCHIEF MANIA nearing the furlong grounds and kept to task to the final sixteenth, held off MISCHIEF MANIA in deep stretch and proved best late. MISCHIEF MANIA prominent away from the start, attended to the early pace outside of BRIDGE CLASSIC, stalked that rival to the quarter marker then was turned away nearing the furlong pole, re-rallied to the final sixteenth and chased the winner to deep stretch, could not reel in BRIDGE CLASSIC in the late stages and was a clear second best. FRENCH KNIGHT allowed to settle early, mounted a three wide bid to upper stretch, flattened out in the lane but was clear of the rest for the show honors at the wire. EMANCIPATION broke a bit slowly and was last away from the start, settled to the turn, was coaxed two to three wide and between foes to upper stretch, needed more in the lane and passed tiring rivals late. BENJAMINO settled while saving ground in the early stages, maintained an inside path to the quarter marker, lacked a response into upper stretch and weakened in the lane. BIG D broke in and crowded an inner rival to begin, settled off of the early pace, asked three to four wide to upper stretch and lacked a late response.
