Footnotes
MYA PAPAYA quickly assumed command, responded well to the riders urging and splashed clear to be much the best. IONA MCKINZIE moved up to shadow the pace along the inside, tipped out three wide entering the stretch but was unable to catch the winner, clearly second best. FLY FARTHER chased the pace three wide, flattened out down the stretch while being the best of the rest for the show honors. LOLITA J tracked the early pace between rivals, settled off the pace before the turn, shifted out five wide rounding the turn, stayed on the inside lead down the stretch to miss out on the minor awards. SHINING AWAY settled off the pace, failed to respond to the rider's encouragement down the stretch. TIA LUPE trailed distantly for most, showed some effort down the stretch to pass retreating foe. PLEASING brushed lightly with inside foe at the start, tracked the pace four wide in the early stages, began backing off through the turn, ridden out down the stretch to be the eased across.
