DR. NIKO was off slowly, rushed up quickly to press the early pace, took charge at the three sixteenths and was kept to task down the stretch. BYWORD trailed shortly after the start, began closing in along the outside of the upper stretch, shifted in to the four path at the eighth, finished well to earn the place award. WILLINGNESS tracked the early pace, settled along the inside of the turn, shifted out three wide entering the stretch, showed a mild rally to just get up for the show honors. D COLDEST assumed command along the inside, came under heavy pressure by DR. NIKO shortly after the start, conceded the lead at the three sixteenths and flattened out, just missed out on the minor awards. STORM SNIPER found early placement around the middle of the pack, angled out four wide entering the stretch but made no bid. HIGHSTAKES HUSTLER raced off the pace, trailed by the quarter, made no impact.
