Footnotes
HIGHLY WICKED chased the early pace a couple lengths back, shifted out three wide at the top of the stretch to begin closing, switch back to the inside lead at the eighth and finished closing to be up in time. KALIL assumed early command along the inside, travelled comfortably up the backstretch and far turn, opened up a couple lengths in the upper stretch but just got caught in the final yards. JUS PRESS STAR brushed inside foe at the start, settled off the pace, passed tiring foe in the far turn before changing lanes towards the inside for the stretch, rallied well while staying on the left lead, just held for the show honors. RISING INFLATION tracked the pace five wide, just missed out on the minor awards, finished evenly. ISLAND GOLD was unhurried at the start, trailed distantly for most, made a run in the upper stretch to pick off a couple foes but flattened out in the deep stretch. TOMMIE G moved up to stalk the early pace, entered the stretch four wide but came up empty and weakened. SAVED BY GRACE was a tad fractious in the gate, brushed by outside foe at the start, was placed not too far back along the inside, began retreating through the far turn and trailed by the quarter.
