FOR THREE YEAR OLD FILLIES, ACCREDITED LOUISIANA BRED. Free Nomination by Saturday, February 14. $550 to enter, $550 additional to start. Supplemental nominations of $2,000 will be accepted at time of entry which shall include all fees. $100,000 Guarantee d of which 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weight: 122 lbs. Maidens allowed 5 lbs. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. The Louisiana Broodmare of the year 'Charged Cotton'S takes will be limited to twelve (12) starters. Winners will be preferred then preference to horses that have accumulated the highest lifetime earnings. Any horse excluded from running because of the aforementioned preference shall be refunded the entry f ee or supplementary nomination fee if applicable. BRAKEN POPPA was reluctant to load the gate, broke alertly, applied heavy pressure to the pace through the first turn and backstretch, moved to contest the pace in the far turn, took charge at the top of the stretch and drew clear. THRILL SEEKER bumped inside foe at the start, was quick to set a pressured pace, vied for command in the far turn, conceded the lead at the top of the stretch, no match for the winner. FADE TO GOLD chased the top pair a few lengths back, shifted out entering the stretch but could not rally, chased on to be clear of the rest for the show award. CHICKA CHICK brushed lightly with outside foe at the start, trailed up the backstretch and far turn, passed tiring foes along the outside of the stretch. TIED THE KNOT was bumped by outside foe at the start, trailed through the first turn, steadily advanced along the inside, weakened in the stretch. LITEUPTHENITE brushed lightly with inside foe at the start, settled off the pace four wide, never threatened. COMPLETE WRAP found early placement around the middle of the pack three wide, slowly backed off while travelling up the backstretch, retreated in the stretch.
