Footnotes
WESTERN RUN prominent early, attended to the moderate pace between rivals up the backstretch, took command to upper stretch then drew clear late. FOOTPRINT allowed to settle while never far back, bid between rivals nearing mid-stretch, could not find more to the final sixteenth and held well for the place. MAKI MONARCHY got squeezed a bit leaving the start but was away in good order, was floated out along the first turn then tracked the moderate pace three deep along the backstretch run, gave chase to upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive but held for the show. E LION allowed to settle early, saved ground to the half-mile marker, chased from the rail to upper stretch then angled out nearing the furlong grounds, made a mild late rally but was outfinished for the show. JACK RABBIT unhurried to the backstretch, swung widest at the quarter pole, closed into the final sixteenth but needed more late. FILM AT ELEVEN was a bit fractious prior to the start, tracked the moderate pace three deep along the backstretch, chased along the far turn then spun four wide to upper stretch, was outkicked to the furlong grounds and weakened late. DATE THE PRINCE settled while saving ground early, trailed into the far turn, maintained an inside path to the stretch and did not threaten late. TYLER'S TURN settled to the backstretch, asked for run two to three wide upper stretch, no late rally. WHERE Y'AT assumed early command, set a moderate pace while prompted to the half, met the bid of WESTER RUN into upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and faded.
