MISCHIEF RIDE settled early, tracked the moderate pace three wide to the half, asked three wide at the top of the lane, made a sustained bid to the final sixteenth, wore down FAST CONNECTION in deep stretch and got up. FAST CONNECTION set moderate pace inside, met bid of MISCHIEF RIDE nearing the furlong marker, dug in into the final sixteenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and was well clear for second. PRINCE OF LIGHT unhurried to the half, roused three wide upper stretch, needed more late, held safe for third. STARMETAL settled early, coaxed three to four wide to the half, bid four wide upper, flattened out in the lane. STRAITSHOOTINLARRY prominent early, stalked the moderate pace to the half, vied between rivals nearing the top of the lane, could not keep pace into the final furlong and gave way. TWENTY TWO BLACK prominent early then took back into the first turn, was well placed while saving ground to the half, chased two wide then from the inside into the stretch, no late bid. SUNSET SKIP rated early, saved ground to the half, saved all of the ground to upper stretch, no late response.
