Footnotes
CORONA DE ORO off step slow, sent to contest the early pace, disputed pace two wide to the half, shook free upper stretch, drew off in hand. CROMWELL settled early, tracked from the two path to the half-mile, angled three wide upper, was no match late for the winner and was second best. DIAMOND EYED JACK contested pace inside to quarter, turned away into upper stretch, yielded in the lane, held share show. KING OF HEAT settled, unhurried to half, swung four wide upper, up share third. HITCHCOCK took back, tracked three wide to the half, tired to upper stretch, eased through the lane, walked off.
