DUVEE bobbled start, sent to the early lead, set a moderate pace to the half-mile, repelled foe at the quarter pole, dug in into the lane, held safe for the win. JOSAN forwardly placed early, tracked inside to the half, shifted out and bid two wide to the quarter pole, was turned away then drifted into the stretch, fought on to the final sixteenth, could not make headway on the winner late and held for second. HUDSON'S DAY settled mid-pack, coaxed two wide upper, gaining late, clear third. GO BROTHER GO took back, steadied into the first turn, saved ground to second turn, no late kick. MIDNIGHT HALO settled, tracked two to three wide to half, asked upper stretch, lacked the needed response and weakened. CONTRABAND EARLY settled between two to three wide, flattened out stretch. CRIGLER settled three to four wide, coaxed widest to the half, continued a wide trip to upper stretch, no late bid. GIRLIE'S MAX ceded early lead, stalked to half, dropped back far turn, eased stretch, walked off.
