SAND CAST was rated along the inside, moved up to shadow the pace by the half mile marker, launched a four wide sustained bid at the three sixteenths for a driving finish. BONAFIDE tracked the early pace three wide, steadily advanced through the far turn to enter the stretch in a three way duel, led briefly at the eighth pole until giving way to the winner. ARTHUR'S COURT chased the the leader through the first turn, moved up to press the pace at the half mile marker, dueled between horses in the upper stretch, showed signs of weakening in the final sixteenth, held for the show award. MIDNIGHT VENGEANCE broke swiftly, saved ground in the first turn, came under pressure midway up the backstretch, entered the stretch in a three way duel but ultimately gave way at the eighth. TYLER'S TURN raced off the pace, was cued four wide in the far turn but came up empty in the stretch. DATE THE PRINCE trailed throughout, no factor.
