TIME TO PARTY bumped inner foe at the start, found early position around the middle of the pack, cued three wide through the far turn to take charge at the top of the stretch, drifted out under left handed encouragement to bump into NOTION at the eight pole, just held. NOTION settled back four wide, closed in through the far turn to enter the stretch in a prominent position, was bumped out by TIME TO PARTY at the eighth, held off. CASTLE ISLAND broke swiftly, opted to track the pace from the inside before the first turn, closed some ground in the far turn to enter the stretch close up, looked to pass along the inside at the quarter but was closed off by GUILE, changed lanes at the three sixteenths and finished well to be clear of the rest for the show award. I'M YOUR MAN bumped outer foe at the start, raced off the pace, shifted out four wide at the top of the stretch, improved for a shared spot at fourth place. HEY BOSS settled back to trail, entered the stretch six wide to pass a couple tiring foes in the stretch, got up for a shared spot at fourth place. GUILE was fractious in the gate, tracked the early pace from the two to three path, launched a bid to lead briefly rounding the far turn, retreated down the stretch. EL PERFECTO settled off the pace along the inside, took to the far outside of the stretch but was no threat late. GOLDEN BANDIT showed good early speed to take charge before the first turn, dictated the terms of the race up the backstretch until coming under pressure in the far turn, gave way at the quarter and retreated then on. STEWARD'S INQUIRY FOLLOWED BY A JOCKEY'S OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF NOTION ON TIME TO PARTY REGARDING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF TIME TO PARTY FROM FIRST TO SECOND.
