IN B. J.'S HONOR brushed LADY STAR shortly after the start, opted to trail through the first turn and up the backstretch, cued along the outside of the far turn to enter the stretch in a prominent position alongside three others, dueled with DESERT GLOW in the final furlong and dug in late for the win. DESERT GLOW was bumped by inner foe at the start, found a forward position three wide, closed in through the far turn looking to split foes at the top of the stretch but got in tight and took a slight hold, got through soon after to duel with IN B.J.'S HONOR in the final furlong, switched back to her inside lead at the sixteenth and gave way to the winner, clear of the rest for the place award. BROADWAY PEARL broke alertly, opted to chase the pace before the first turn, held position in the two to three path while travelling up the backstretch, moved up through the far turn to find a competitive position between foes at the quarter, was no match for the top two but was still able to hold for the show award. CLEARLY CREEPS was allowed to settle off the pace, navigated traffic through the stretch to show an impressive run late to just miss out on the show honors. SNAZZY GAL rushed to claim a ground-saving lead before the first turn, continued to lead up the backstretch until coming under pressure through the far turn and upper stretch, gave way approaching the eighth and flattened out. LADY STAR was brushed out by IN B.J.'S HONOR shortly after the start, raced off the pace five wide, closed some ground in the far turn but had no more for the stretch. RUN BAMBI RUN chased the pace from the inside, weakened down the stretch. RILEYS EMPIRE bobbled at the start and bumped into outer foe, moved up to find early position in the middle of the pack, failed to respond to any encouragement in the stretch and retreated. COUNTRY BELLE raced off the pace, trailed by the three eighths, outran.
