Footnotes
DJANGO crowded at the start and last away from the gate, settled and saved ground to the backstretch, loomed along the far turn then vied for the lead along the rail into upper stretch, turned away TRULY LEGIT into the final furlong and proved best late. TRULY LEGIT stalked the early pace from the inside, met bid of DJANGO while two wide nearing the quarter pole, repelled into the final furlong, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and was a clear second. YOU BELONG HERE tracked two to three wide to the half-mile, outkicked upper stretch, ran on through the lane, could not keep pace late with the top pair and was a clear third. C MAC DA BOSS set pace between foes to the half-mile marker, overtaken far turn, gave way stretch. DROMAS took up, in tight to the first turn, settled to the backstretch, could not keep pace heading to the far turn, no factor in the drive.
