Footnotes
LAGYNOS rated off of the early pace, tracked inside to the half-mile, waited for racing room nearing the top of the lane, split rivals to upper stretch and bid three wide nearing the furlong marker, shook free of the runner-up into the final sixteenth and proved best late. TOM'S MAGIC close up early, attended pace to the second turn, vied for the lead to mid-stretch, was turned away by the winner into the final sixteenth and held for second. PROGRAM TRADING (GB) tracked two wide to the half-mile, shifted out and was asked three to four wide upper stretch, outkicked to the final sixteenth, held safe for third. CHASING THE CROWN settled inside to the backstretch, roused four then five wide to upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and flattened out in the drive. MONTADOR hopped then crowded at the start, trailed to the backstretch, angled widest into upper stretch, needed more late. FABER settled two to three wide to the backstretch, angled to the inside into the far turn, chased to mid-stretch, could not muster the needed response and finished evenly late. IDRATHERBEBLESSED broke in at the start, assumed early command, set prompted pace to the quarter marker, was overtaken into upper stretch and faded in the lane.
