Footnotes
WAY TO BE MARIE was allowed to settle off the pace, began steadily advancing three wide after the half mile marker, launched a four wide bid at the top of the stretch and began driving under immense encouragement from the rider, dug in late to earn the win. SOPHIE'S CRUISER quickly assumed command, led by a considerable margin up the backstretch under a tight rein from the rider, began asking at the quarter to maintain lead over foes that closed in through the far turn, just got nailed at the wire. READY FOR SHIRL settled off the pace in the two path, closed in through the far turn three wide, entered the stretch just behind the pace between foes, came up just short but earned a spot for the show honors. FOR LOVE AND HONOR was rated along the inside, moved up through the far turn to shadow the pace in the upper stretch, tipped out into the two path to pass foe at the eighth, got out-finished in the final furlong for any minor awards. SEA TO SKY (IRE) broke a step slow, trailed the pack for most, closed some ground in the far turn, had no room for most of the stretch, was able to shift out at the sixteenth to pass tiring foe. GAVEA (GER) saved ground to chase the pace from the inside, closed in through the far turn to enter the stretch just behind the leader, faded in the final furlong.
