Footnotes
CAUSE WE CAN settled early, tracked the modest pace three wide to the far turn, bid to mid-stretch, took command into the final sixteenth and held off the runner-up late. KISSES FOR COOPER stalked early pace from the three path, moved inside nearing the half-mile, mounted a rail bid into upper stretch, was held at bay in the late stages and was a clear second. KRAFTS PALACE sent, set pace from the two path into the backstretch run, confronted at the quarter pole, yielded to the top pair in the drive, held for third. COACH'S MEMORY bobbled start, off bit slow, trailed to the half-mile, swung four wide to upper stretch, needed more in the final stages and missed for third. DEWEY'S SOLDIER settled inside then two wide into the backstretch, asked three wide along the far turn, chased two wide to upper stretch, weakened in the drive.
