SASSI STRUTTER took back approaching the turn, roused three wide upper stretch, closed determinedly into the final furlong, wore down foes to the final sixteenth, proved best late. SYNTHETIC showed speed, dueled two wide to the quarter marker, met bid of SASSI STRUTTER past mid-stretch, was gamely bested in the final stages, held for second. SIX STRING contested pace inside to the quarter, dug in to mid-stretch, yielded to the top pair late, held safe for third. RUE LALA settled outside, coaxed three to four wide along the turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch, no kick late. BET TOWINIT well placed to turn, tracked two to three wide along the bend, chased to mid-stretch, no late rally. TOMMIE G in tight, shuffled back while between rivals heading to the turn, saved ground to the quarter pole, lacked a response at mid-stretch and weakened. CUSTOM DESIGN off step slow, trailed to turn, outrun to the stretch, no impact.
