SWEET THIRTEEN settled to the turn, bid between three wide to upper stretch, dove inside nearing the final sixteenth, made a strong late bid to deep stretch and was up in time. LA PALABRA rated early, angled three wide to upper stretch, vied four wide nearing mid-stretch, led late, was outkicked by the winner and was a clear second. THAT'S THE DEAL settled, tracked inside to the quarter marker then was caught in traffic to upper stretch, mounted a rail bid to the final sixteenth and held well late for third. MOM'S HANDS settled outside, coaxed six wide to upper stretch, needed more late and just missed for third. INSIPID broke alertly, stalked three wide to turn, chased four wide upper stretch, flattened out. OUR INDIAN GIRL sent, dueled pace inside to the quarter marker, battled approaching mid-stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and tired. STAR OF ASTROLOGY settled early, climbed and dropped back heading to the turn, trailed to upper stretch, angled out for the stretch drive and passed tired foes. MICHELINE GAIL showed speed, dueled pace two wide to the quarter pole, faded in the drive. WICKEY BIBBY broke in and off slow, settled inside, saved ground to the quarter, no bid. VANNA G settled in the second flight, outrun four wide nearing the quarter, came up empty stretch. ROSE HILL ROCKET refused to break, walked off. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START INVOLVING ROSE HILL ROCKET, AND DETERMINED THAT RUNNER CAUSED HER OWN ISSUES AT THE BREAK AND NO ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN.
