FIT TO FLY sat immediately behind the pace on the inside, launched a four wide bid approaching the quarter pole to drive past rivals and be the first to cross. HOFF was bumped at the start, claimed the early lead to set a pressured pace, was challenged to duel through the turn by foe until giving way in the final furlong. ACHROMEDOUTCAT hopped at the start, tracked the pace five wide, found best stride late in the stretch to be up for the show award. SAWYER FOX pressed the early pace, moved up to vie for command through the turn and upper stretch but yielded at the three sixteenths. PRINCE LANCELOT (GB) settled back to be the early trailer, made an inside bid exiting the turn to enter the stretch in a competitive position but flattened out late. TWIRLING ROSES was bumped at the start, opted to race in the middle of the pack, failed to menace. ENVELOPE PLEASE raced off the pace three wide, trailed at the quarter, made no impact.
