VOILA MAGIC broke well, settled just behind THE WICKED CAT initially, then ranged up in hand and took command midway through the turn, then drew off through the stretch under steady handling while drifting out a bit in the late stages. WICKED AS HAGGART broke outward at the start, settled back early, advanced under a drive through the turn, bid about six wide into the stretch, then finished up well to move up into second despite lugging in through the stretch. YORKTOWN PANTHER had to be ridden to keep pace early, went evenly through the stretch, outlasted the rest to take home the minor award. THE WICKED CAT broke on top and went clear through the initial furlong, was challenged by VOILA MAGIC after passing the half, then gave way to that one midway through the turn and was outfinished in the stretch. CLEARLY MAJESTIC raced close up just behind the pacesetters through the early stages without a clear path through the inside, swung out four-wide into the stretch, but faltered. ASTHECOLDWINDBLOWS got away slower than the others and chased wide throughout. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
