F T W SLAM settled four-wide in the second flight, advanced on the leaders through the turn to bid for the lead five-wide at the top of the stretch, and drew away in the late stages. CONEJO CHAPIN raced between horses in the tracking group, advanced closer through the turn, but was without a clear path approaching the stretch, tipped out to the three path, could not get to the winner, but moved up to gain the place. AVERY'S GEM pressed the early pace three-wide, took the lead midway through the turn, took a short lead into the stretch, held on well, but was outfinished by the top pair. RAZOR CREST was slow to begin and trailed well behind the field early, but finished up well to improve. YOCKEY'S DRIVETHRU raced in the middle of the pack through the early stages, finished with interest but could not find a winning kick in the late stages. MYGLORYBEE settled back, then angled out five-wide late on the turn, kept on well but was unable to threaten. LAURI'S WISH was briefly up in the early pace battle, backed off heading into the turn, and was unable to regain momentum. LOUISIANA JESS contested the early pace three-deep to the stretch, then tied. POP'S PEPPYSTEPER was the inside horse in the early speed battle, gave way in upper stretch, and faded to last.
