BEEKMAN STREET raced in cover not far off the pace through the early stages, responded when sent through an opening in the stretch, and finished well under handling to prevail over a pair of determined rivals on the outside. CRUISIN CHUCK settled three-wide near the back half of the field through the early stages, swung six or seven wide into the stretch, finished strong, and just missed. THEBABESLAYER raced mid-pack three-to-four wide, moved up through the far turn to bid for the lead at the top of the stretch, kicked on well, battled between rivals through the final furlong, but came up short in a solid effort. RAMBLIN settled in the middle of the pack, finished evenly. HE'S A CHARMER settled near the back, bid six-wide into the stretch and finished with some energy while never a serious threat. TURBO LAUNCH tracked four-wide, made the lead in upper stretch, but failed to change leads and faltered. PRACTICAL JOKER setted mid-pack, gave an even efffort but was outkicked in the stretch. ROAD TRIPPIN raced close up along the rail, bided time behind horses through the far turn, was blocked in upper stretch, then unable to generate a late kick once clear. KELZ was in a bit tight after the start, showed no speed and trailed far back to the stretch, then was kept to task through the stretch and passed tired foes. FAST CONNECTION settled near the back and lacked a rally. FINAL WAR was forwardly placed early, loomed a big threat late on the far turn, but faltered in the stretch. MORAL MAN made the lead coming off the first turn, was left alone to dictate the pace to the stretch, then tired.
