FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. By subscription of $175 by Saturday, November 15. $875 to enter; $875 additional to start. Supplemental nominations of $3,000 will be accepted at time of entry which shall include all fees. $175,000 Guaranteed of which 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 4% to fourth, 2% to fifth and 1% to finishers sixth through ninth. Weight: Three-Year-Old - 122, Older - 124. Non-winners of a Stakes race in 2025, allowed 2 lbs. $85,000 since August 27, allowed 4 lbs. $70,000 since then allowed 6 lbs. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. The 101st Running of The Thanksgiving Classic will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. Preference will be given in the following manner: graded or groupw inner in order (I, II, III), then highest lifetime earnings. Any horse excluded from running because of the aforementioned preference shall be refunded the entry fee or supplementary nomination fee if applicable. WENDELSSOHN got away well, tracked behind the pace down the backstretch, then followed KOMOREBINO OMOIDE (JPN) into the stretch, wore down that rival by mid-stretch, edged clear and held a slight advantage to the wire. KOMOREBINO OMOIDE (JPN) broke well, tracked the early pace two-deep, moved confidently to bid for the lead near the five-sixteenths marker, dueled with WENDELSSOHN from upper stretch, but gave way in the final furlong and had to settle for the place. THE DONEGAL CLAN broke well but was under a ride from the outset to keep pace, saved ground to the stretch, then finished well to win the race for third. SURVEILLANCE settled near the back early, moved up into contention on the turn, finished well, but was not doing enough late to threaten the winners. BABY YODA was slow into stride and under a ride from the start, raced last into the turn and kept on through the stretch to split the field, while never a threat to win. THE WINE STEWARD raced four-wide in the second flight, came five-wide into the stretch, and was mildly gaining late. BEAR RIVER was briefly close through the initial furlong, struggled to keep pace through the turn, then was uninvolved in the late stages. MONDOGETSBUCKETS stumbled at the start, raced near the back of the pack, and never threatened. GOODLOOKINJUSTICE broke best and set a rapid early pace with BEAR RIVER in close pursuit, gave way readily to that one before mid-stretch, and faded to last, later was reported to have bled.
