AMPITUP quickly claimed a nice lead along the inside, came under pressure by foes in the turn, dueled with APRIORITY ROCKET down the stretch, edged clear in the final sixteenth. APRIORITY ROCKET tracked the pace four wide, closed the distance through the turn to duel with the leader entering the stretch, yielded late for a gamely finish. HOORAY AUSTIN stalked the pace three wide, vied through the turn, backed off in the stretch. TOTALLY ADDICTED was very slow to leave the gate, trailed for most, passed tired rivals along the inside of the stretch. CAJUN CYCLONE raced behind the pace on the inside, tipped out four wide in the stretch but made no rally. COUNTRY GUY raced off the pace, trailed in the final furlong, bled, escorted off in an equine ambulance.
