Footnotes
HITTIN MY STRIDE tracked the early pace three wide, moved up through the turn to duel with the leader in the upper stretch, took command in the final furlong and kicked clear. GOLD PLUS showed good early speed setting the pace along the inside, was challenged to duel in the upper stretch, gave way in the final furlong, just held for the place award. FOXY ZORRA was rated nicely behind the pace in the two path, made no bid. SISTER SAINT raced off the pace four wide, closed willingly in the stretch. FRET NO MORE opted to race in the middle of the pack, weakened in the stretch. CHIEF EXPRESS was pinched back at the start, ran a wide trailing trip, passed tired foe late. SMART IZZY raced off the pace, weakened in the stretch.
