Footnotes
NOVA'S RETURN settled off the pace, angled out seven wide at the quarter, picked off rivals through the stretch to be up in time, fell after the finish, escorted off in an equine ambulance. HALF WAY THERE quickly claimed the early lead, challenged to duel with PASKETEE at the quarter, began to pull away in the final sixteenth but was nailed at the wire. PASKETEE was bumped at the start, moved up to track the pace four wide entering the turn, saved some ground to duel for the lead at the quarter, gave way at the sixteenth. SIR MACK settled off the pace, closed willingly along the inside of the stretch for a respectable finish. PATEK was rated three wide in the middle of the pack, tipped out six wide at the quarter to improve position. NAME THE TIME was a bit fractious in the gate, raced off the pace, passed tiring rivals in the stretch. TAP THE TEQUILA broke slow and a bit outward, trailed for most, found best stride late to pick off a few rivals. TSUPERMAN sat nicely behind the pace on the inside, began to fade at the three sixteenths. BEAUDEAN was bumped at the start, stalked the early pace between foes, retreated at the quarter. TORPEDO CHARLIE stalked the early pace three wide, faded in the stretch. RAZZ raced off the pace, made no impact.
