Supplemental nominations of $2,500 will be accepted at time of entry which shall include all fees. $125,000 Guara nteed of which 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth, 3% to fifth . Weight: Three-Year-Old - 122 lbs. Older - 124 lbs. Non-winners of a Sweepstakes in 2025 allowed 2 lbs., $15,000 twice since June 13, 2025, allowed 4 lbs. One such r ace since then allowed 6 lbs. (Maiden and Claiming Races Not Considered in Allowances) Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. The Louisiana Champions Day Sprint will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. First preferencet o stakes winners, second preference to horses that have accumulated the highest total earnings in 2025 and then horses with the highest lifetime earnings. Any horse excluded from running because of the aforementioned preference shall be refunded the entrr y fee or supplementary nomination fee if applicable. GEAUX SUGAR broke sharply to set an uncontested pace, kept on task through the stretch for a gate to wire finish. EL DINERO tracked the pace from the inside, held at bay by the winner for an even finish. STRONG PROMISE was rated four wide, closed some ground in the upper stretch before flattening out in the final furlong. HAY JUDE was off a step slow, picked off one rival in the turn, picked off one more tiring foe in the stretch. F T W SLAM raced off the pace, trailed at the three eighths, made no impact. NOT ON HERB tracked the pace three wide, retreated in the stretch.
