Footnotes
RISING INFLATION trailed through the first turn, moved up to stalk the pace four wide up the backstretch, vied for command through the far turn before taking charge at the quarter, pulled away in the upper stretch to finish the final furlong in hand. HIGHLY WICKED split foes in the first turn vie for command with KALIL up the backstretch, took charge briefly at the three eighths before coming under pressure by RISING INFLATION until giving way at the quarter, no match for the winner. CLEARLY A TEST sat close behind the pace on the inside through the first turn, settled back to trail up the backstretch, picked off rival three wide through the far turn, repositioned along the inside of the stretch to gain one more position. NORAH G claimed the early lead on the inside for the first turn, conceded the lead at the five eighths and backed off a couple lengths, tipped out three wide in the far turn to pass tiring rival, weakened late in the stretch. KALIL stalked the early pace from the two path, moved up to vie for command with HIGHLY WICKED up the backstretch before retreating at the three eighths, eased across.
