Footnotes
SLAM DIEGO settled not too far off the pace, saved some ground in the turn, tipped out three wide in the stretch to drive through a gap for the victory. BERLAINE moved up to press the pace through the turn, took command at the quarter, grudgingly gave way to the winner in the final sixteenth. MISS MAXIMUS sat behind the pace on the inside, launched a four wide bid at the quarter but was held at bay. DIAMONDS JOY tracked the early pace five wide, made no bid. SAVE THE QUEEN raced in the middle of the pack between foes, weakened in the stretch. CASTLE MAGIC quickly claimed the early lead, came under pressure in the turn to ultimately give way at the quarter, faded down the stretch. MAMBA OUT trailed shortly after the start, passed foe entering the turn, made no more progress. HUNTLEIGH trailed entering the turn, no factor.
