MADAME MARKIEVICZ tracked the pace from the inside, took a slight hold after the nine sixteenths, launched a four wide bid rounding the turn to duel with MENTY B down the stretch, edged clear late for the victory. MENTY B took charge immediately after leaving the gate, came under pressure by foes in the turn, pulled away a couple lengths before being challenged to duel by MADAME MARKIEVICZ at the three sixteenths, gave way late. LITTLE BIT O STORM moved up to press the pace between rivals in the turn, backed off at the quarter. SLIM CAUSEWAY moved up to stalk the pace three wide through the turn, retreated in the stretch. MAYLEN trailed throughout, no factor.
