Footnotes
PETCOFF raced not too far off the pace five wide, showed an impressive drive in the final furlong to be up just in time. THAT'S RIGHT was a bit reluctant to load the gate, saved ground in the turn, split foes at the three sixteenths to claim a narrow lead, nailed at the finish. MONSIEUR CANDY vied for the lead from the inside, took command at the quarter before giving way at the eighth, weakened late but still held for the show. WARHEART settled off the pace, closed willingly along the outside of the stretch. VACATION DANCE settled back to be the early trailer, rallied along the inside of the stretch but flattened late. GO CAPTAIN vied for command in the two path, gave way at the quarter, faded in the stretch. MISTER MMMMM broke sharply, settled behind the pace through the turn, tipped out five wide in the stretch but made no bid. NEWS AT NINE settled off the pace on the inside, made no impact. COVEY (GB) raced in the middle of the pack between rivals, retreated in the stretch.
