ACES HONOR vied for the early lead, backed off through the first turn, moved back up to press the pace three wide, took command at the three eighths, opened up a few lengths in the stretch, narrowly held off driving foe. PREPPED was pinched back at the start, raced off the pace, angled out seven wide in the stretch to show an impressive rally that came up just short. CRUISIN CHUCK tracked the pace four wide, began to close late but needed more. ROAD TRIPPIN led the second flight of horses, split foes in the stretch but was out-finished. PRINCE OF LIGHT raced off the pace, closed willingly to improve position. RAMBLIN raced off the pace, weaved a path through the stretch to finish well. HE'S A CHARMER stalked the early pace between foes, backed off in the far turn, flattened out in the stretch. MATCHING FUNDS raced off the pace, passed tired foes on the outside. SWEET RETREAT broke slowly, trailed for most, passed tired foes on the inside of the stretch. LOOK NO MO showed good early speed, came under pressure going down the backstretch, relinquished the lead at the three eighths, faded in the stretch. KARATE ISLAND tracked the early pace on the inside, closed some ground before the second turn, squeezed back at the eighth. RIPPIN tracked the pace between rivals, retreated to trail by the eighth.
