ISLAND CABANA pressed the early pace, backed up a couple lengths down the backstretch and far turn, launched a well timed bid in the stretch to split foes for the victory. SYVESTAR was rated along the inside, angled out six wide at the quarter, showed a good rally but just missed. CREEKSIDE tracked the early pace three wide, moved up to contend for the pace in the backstretch and far turn, took sole command at the furlong marker but grudgingly gave way to driving foes in the final few strides. JOEY'S LIGHTENING opted to trail the pack, rallied along the outside of the stretch but flattened out late. SPINNING ACES was quick to set the pace, came under pressure up the backstretch until ultimately giving way at the eighth. PURRRFECT RHYTHM raced off the pace, closed some ground five wide in the far turn, retreated in the stretch. TOTALLY ADDICTED was off a beat slow, moved up to track the pace four wide, retreated in the stretch.
