SYNTHETIC vied for the early lead along the inside, took sole command in the turn while still under pressure, drew clear down the stretch to be much the best. LOUISIANA JESS settled off the pace along the inside, took a slight hold approaching the seven sixteenths to trail through the turn, angled out six wide in the stretch to rally for the place award. CONEJO CHAPIN was bumped and steadied at the start, moved up between rivals before the turn, took towards the inside at the eighth but flattened out. HAWIJA stalked the early pace three wide, faded in the stretch. NATIVE RED was rated five wide, closed some ground in the turn, failed to menace. STAR ROCK STAR raced off the pace between rivals, angled along the rail through the turn, trailed at the quarter, passed retreating foe. EL DAN vied for the early lead, pressed the pace through the turn, retreated at the quarter.
