BIG NICKEL settled off the pace, gained position in the upper stretch, tipped out four wide at the three sixteenths, methodically picked off remaining foes and put a head in front in time. DEAL OF FAITH broke very sharply, came under pressure by FINAL HALF through the turn, started to shake off foe in the upper stretch before being challenged to duel by ANGELIC KNIGHT, began to inch clear late but was nailed by outside foe. ANGELIC KNIGHT settled back to be the early trailer, split foes at the top of the turn, moved up through the turn to make a three wide bid to duel the leader down the stretch but could not sustain. FINAL HALF moved up to vie for the lead through the turn, weakened down the stretch. ASTHECOLDWINDBLOWS was bumped at the start, tracked the pace four wide, failed to menace. JOSH G stalked the early pace three wide, retreated at the quarter. VEGA STAR was bumped at the start, trailed shortly after the start, made no impact.
