After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, and 3% to fifth. *($25,000 to the owners of a registered Florida-bred divided $17,500 to the winner, $5,000 to second, $2,500 to third). Weight: 123 lbs. Non-winners ofa graded stakes on turf allowed 3 lbs.; Graded stakes placed or non-winners of a race other than maiden, claiming, starter or state-bred allowance, 5 lbs. Starters to be named by usual time of closing. All fees shall be paid prior to the start of the racee . Preference will be given to stakes winners, stakes placed then by highest career earnings. Trophy to the winning owner. (If deemed inadvisable to run this race over the turf course, it will be run on the Tapeta Course at One Mile and Seventy Yards) (Ra il at 73 feet).

ALPYLAND tracked the pace on the outside in the three path while in the clear, coxed along to move closer nearing the quarter pole, then made a three wide bid leaving the turn to go on even terms with the pace setter and edged clear under left handed crop to prove best. HONEY DUTCH set the pace while in the two path and then opened up down the backside while setting a fast pace and opened up by the half mile marker, then continued on in the two path on the turn and was headed leaving the bend and dug in determinedly but could not go with the winner in the final sixteenth while staying on for the place award gamely. ZEPPELIN was reserved early, two to four wide on the far turn and tipped five wide off the bend and had a late kick to gain the show award on the wire. EASY WIND tracked the early pace three to two wide, continued on two path down the backside and then dropped to the inside on the far turn and cut the corner leaving the bend, seemed to have room nearing the furlong marker but opted to angle out and then kept on late but lost the show award on the wire. GLORIOUS BOY was settled back early, two to three wide on the far turn and swung out six wide leaving the bend and had a good late kick. KNOTY KNICKS was settled early on the outside, made a four wide move on the far turn to loom boldly leaving the quarter pole, but flattened out in the lane. GRAND MAHOGANY checked about a sixteenth after the break, then was reserved along the inside and saved ground to the far turn and came two wide off the bend but lacked a serious rally. SQUIRE was settled early and was in between rivals by the half mile marker and raced in the two path on the far turn but weakened. A MILLION DREAMS was allowed to settle along the inside but lacked a rally.
