Footnotes
WHY tracked the early pace three wide, moved up three deep rounding the far turn, seized command near the quarter pole and drew off under a drive. COME ON POPPI trailed inside early, moved up two wide around the far turn, swung five wide near the quarter pole and rallied to gain the place late. DECISIVE MAIARA was bumped entering the first turn, raced off the pace three wide, moved up three wide around the far turn, moved into a clear second in midstretch but was outfinished for the place. MY WISH saved ground in midpack, steadied near the quarter pole and had no further bid. LITTLE GUSSIE raced off the pace three and four wide, shifted six wide near the quarter pole and lacked the needed rally. KATHLEEN'S DERBY set the early pace in the two path, steadied early on the backstretch, re-bid two wide between foes around the far turn, reached the quarter pole on near even terms but came up empty in the lane. RIYAH AL NIL advanced four wide around the first turn, cleared and angled early on the backstretch, set the pace along the rail, checked near the quarter pole and retreated inside. JENN'S BELIEFS bumped entering the first turn, saved ground off the pace, clipped heels and lost the rider near the quarter pole, galloped along with the field and walked off. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT NEAR THE QUARTER POLE AND FOUND NO REASON TO ALTER THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
