HILLBILLY BOB set the pace in the two path, widened in upper stretch, continued on the left lead, drifted out late and just lasted. GOLDINTHESKY raced off the early pace inside, was ridden along three wide around the far turn, closed late, was herded out a bit and ran out of ground. ANIMATED raced well back two wide, angled out in upper stretch and rallied to gain the show late. TAPSTICK stalked the pace three wide and was one-paced through the lane. JIMBO BAILEY raced in range inside and came up empty in the lane. MULLY'S MOON played no factor while racing two and three wide. DISTINGUISHED GENT chased the pace inside and faltered after five furlongs. AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF GOLDINTHESKY AGAINST THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS NOT ALLOWED.
