CONTRARY prompted the pace in the four path, could not quite match strides with the pacesetter nearing the quarter pole, kept on outside and was up and clear late. DOMINO VITALI set the pace in the three path, led past the sixteenth marker and was well clear of the rest. STREET VIEW raced off the pace three wide and was along for the show. ROYAL POPPY bobbled at the break, chased the pace five wide and lacked the needed rally. SHERBINI chased the pace two wide and came up empty in the lane. PUCKERED played no factor while racing four wide. PALM DESERT disputed the pace inside and retreated after a half. VIVI GET YOUR GUNS broke slowly and trailed inside.
